A Costa Rica Wedding Highlights

by ButterflySquad

from vimeo: Tracking shots are achieved by using the DP slider. Its compact form factor and portability helped me to travel light which was crucial considering I had to take 2 flights and a 3-hour bus ride to get to this location.

Killer ring shots

from Australia...Paper Cranes Productions with a V-480. very cool ring shots

from Paper Cranes: "Thanks to DPslider, the ring shot can have some sliding on it. We were shooting with 100 macro 2.8 on the closeup shot. It would not be possible with the gt cause we have to focus pull while sliding."

Extra support for vertical slide on a V-1200

The longer the slider, the more it will wobble on the top of a vertical slide. This action is very similar to that of a diving board where as you get farther to the edge of the board, the more it will bounce. There are various ways to rig the slider so that it will be stable. We like to use a second tripod raised up to the same height as the upper foot and clamping the foot to the fluid head arm.
